Lacemaking Classes

Looking to learn a craft? Why not try Lacemaking? A traditional craft, taught in a traditional way, or even with a modern twist.

 

All experience levels welcome to attend, so whether you are a complete beginner, looking to extend your skills, or would simply like to make new friends with a similar interest you are more than welcome.

 

We have an extensive list of lacemaking techniques to pass on.  These include:

  • Bucks

  • Bedfordshire

  • Honiton

  • Milanese

  • Braid

  • Bruge Flower Lace

  • Czech Lace

  • Modern Lace

  • Needlelace

  • Carrickmacross

  • Lace Design

 

 

All of your essential lacemaking supplies are available including:

  • Pins

  • Finca threads (All thicknesses)

  • King tut coloured threads

  • Scissors

  • Crochet Hooks

  • Lace Patterns

  • Pricking card

  • Matt Blue Film

  • Textured Threads

  • Linen Threads

  • Second Hand lace Pillows

  • Second Hand Books

 

Supplies

Classes are charged at £10 per week (2 hour sessions) and run on

Mondays : 10am-12pm, 12.30pm-2.30pm & 3pm-5pm

Wednesday: 2.15pm-4.15pm

We also hold a class once a month on a Wednesday evening 5.30pm-7.30pm.
